The Cooperation with the Professional Community/Public Information (CPC/PI) Committee supports Greater Vancouver Intergroup by sharing accurate, accessible information about Alcoholics Anonymous® with the public and with professionals who interact with alcoholics in their work. Guided by A.A.’s Twelve Traditions—especially our commitment to anonymity and cooperation without affiliation—the committee maintains literature, responds to community requests, provides training, and explores new ways to carry the A.A. message responsibly. Our work helps ensure that A.A. is understood, available, and represented with clarity throughout the community.

Join Our Committee

The CPC/PI Committee is looking for A.A. members who want to help carry our message to professionals and the general public—always in the spirit of cooperation without affiliation. Our work includes sharing accurate information about A.A., supporting libraries and community partners, responding to speaker requests, and ensuring our public outreach reflects A.A.’s Twelve Traditions. Members with at least two years of sobriety are encouraged to participate.

If you’re interested in meaningful service that strengthens A.A.’s presence in the community, we invite you to join us. The committee meets in person and online on the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. Your experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn can make a real difference.
